The Area Development Committee (ADC) for Mwilang’ombe has commended Lusubilo Community Care for its continued support to vulnerable children and families in the area.
The appreciation was expressed during an ADC meeting held on 10 March 2026 in Traditional Authority Mwilang’ombe, where Lusubilo provided an update on the Integrated Support for Orphans, Vulnerable Children and Youth (IOVCY II) project being implemented in the area.
During the meeting, Lusubilo Field Officers (FOs) and the District Project Officer (DPO) presented key activities that have been implemented so far and highlighted the progress being made in supporting vulnerable children, youth, and households within the communities.

The engagement also aimed to promote transparency and accountability while ensuring that community leadership remains informed and actively involved in the implementation of the project.
The ADC acknowledged several interventions implemented by Lusubilo Community Care, including the provision of safe water, the CBCC feeding program, household support initiatives, and assistance to vulnerable households benefiting from the safety net program.
According to the committee, these initiatives are helping to improve the wellbeing of many vulnerable children and families in the communities.
