Hunger and food insecurity remain significant challenges in rural Malawi. Lusubilo Community Care is tackling these issues through a combination of direct food support and long-term agricultural solutions.

Immediate and Long-Term Solutions
Our Food Security programs focus on both meeting urgent nutritional needs and supporting communities to grow their own food sustainably. This includes promoting agriculture, training in improved farming methods, and supporting vulnerable households with food consumption assistance.

Community Collaboration
Working with 84 CBOs and local leaders, we integrate agriculture and livelihoods into broader community development plans, ensuring that solutions are community-owned and lasting.

Linking Food Security with Other Services
Food security is tied to health, education, and economic stability. By addressing nutrition alongside child protection, WASH, and women’s empowerment, we help create a strong foundation for community resilience.
