About Us

Who We Are?

Founded in 1997, Lusubilo Community Care (LCC) is a faith-based organization dedicated to transforming the lives of orphans, vulnerable children, and marginalized communities in northern Malawi. Based in Karonga District, we serve across Karonga, Chitipa, and parts of Rumphi, partnering with over 80 Community-Based Organizations and 300 Child Care Centers.

Our work spans child protection, early childhood development, health and nutrition, food security, women and youth empowerment, education support, and sustainable livelihoods. Through our Children’s Village and community programs, we provide holistic care that meets physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs.

Guided by Catholic social teaching and values of integrity, diversity, and partnership, we are committed to building resilient, self-reliant communities where every child and adult can thrive.
